During these years I did graduate work in Electrical Engineering at Northwestern University.
In 1981 I retired to raise my children. In 1988 I decided to change careers and starting taking classes to earn my teaching certificate from Northeastern Illinois University. In 1990 I started teaching at Glenbard East High School and in 1991 I came to Joliet West. At West I have taught Physics, Honors Physics, Advanced Physics 2, Chemistry, and Physical Science. In 1998 I earned a Masters Degree in Science Education from National Louis University.
My Physics classes are lab based and my students are challenge to discover for themselves the workings of the world around them. I find teaching Physics fun and I hope my students enjoy taking my class.
