Major Course Goals

 

Students will:

á          Demonstrate the ability to write and read HTML code

á          Demonstrate the ability to design, create, and maintain interactive web pages

á          Demonstrate the ability to create hyperlink (navigation) buttons, banners, hit counters, tables and add audio and video clips

á          Demonstrate the ability to use drawing or painting software to create graphics and adjust photographs

á          Demonstrate the ability to use scanners, digital cameras, and digital video cameras

á          Demonstrate the ability to create an animation that could be used in a website

Supplies

 

Students must bring with them to class each day:

á          Folder (with pockets)

á          Pen (Black/pen ink only) and a No. 2 lead pencil

á          Planner

á          ID

 

Re-Do Policy

 

Students will be allowed to re-do all returned quizzes within FIVE school days and receive the highest grade achieved.

A  =         Student completes all assignments, demonstrates high effort and is attentive in class.

B  =         Student does above average work, shows good effort and is cooperative in class.

C  =         Student does average work, shows good effort and is cooperative in class.

D  =         Student does below average work, has few assignments completed, shows little or no effort in class and is uncooperative in class.
