Hi! I teach Computer Applications 1, Computer Applications 2, and Inter-related Occupations (IRO) work program here at
Joliet West High School. This is my
10th year here at Joliet West; overall, this is my 15th
year of teaching.
I graduated from Joliet West High School many years
ago. Later I attended Joliet Junior College and majored in
business. From there, I transferred to Illinois State University
and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Education. I
was a comprehensive Business Education major (no minor), meaning I
can teach any and all business courses. Later I earned a Master's
Degree in Business (MBA) with a concentration in marketing and
computers from Lewis University. Over the years, I've earned an additional 30+ hours past my
Master's Degree. I like to keep up on what's going on in the business/technological world.
Over the past few decades I've taught business and computer courses off and on (part-time) for Joliet Junior College. I also have many years of office experience in the
medical and legal fields. Totally, I've spent 10-plus years in
the business sector. As you can see, I have an extensive
background in business.
It is my pleasure to be able to share my knowledge
and experience with your son or daughter. |
